Our Setting

East Street Farm School is based on a fully accessible small farm in the New Forest. Outdoor learning and hands-on activities are part of our approach, with the natural environment playing a role in our therapeutic model.

Our outdoor learning and therapeutic spaces, are designed to support engagement, regulation and wellbeing through nature. Horticultural zones are used for hands-on learning about growing food and caring for the environment. Our eco-sensory environment is carefully designed to support both guided learning and independent, hands-on exploration, helping students engage with their surroundings in ways that suit their individual needs and interests.

Our school is designed to meet the needs of students with sensory and communication needs. Rooms and shared spaces are well-organised and easy to navigate, with quiet areas available for individual or small group work. The building is fully accessible, with clear signage to support independence. The overall environment is calm, safe and supportive, helping students feel comfortable and ready to learn.

As a flexible bespoke service, we can also utilise environments beyond East Street Farm – extending our approach into family homes, the local community, other learning environments and employment settings.
